We are a full service eye care facility offering eye examinations and contact lens fitting by optometric physicians. Our optical department offers an extensive selection of frames and state of the art lenses. We maintain an on-site fully equipped laboratory, staffed by licensed opticians at all times. Emergency optometric and optical services are available. We also participate in most insurance plans.
Our Staff
Bernard Feldman, OD, FAAO
Dr. Bernard Feldman, a prominent Westfield Optometric Physician, has been in private practice since 1950. Dr. Feldman is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, taking his internship and residency at the same institution. Additional training was obtained at the State College of New York, where he completed his medical eye treatment internship. Dr. Feldman practices full scope vision and eyecare, detection and treatment of eye diseases, eye examinations and the fitting of contact lenses.
Stephen M. Stein, BS, OD
Dr. Stein graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1967, where he received both his B.S. and O.D. degrees. After graduation, he served as a Captain in the US Army. He was in charge of the Optometric Clinic at Walson Army Hospital, Fort Dix, NJ. While in the Army he took courses in advanced contact lens practice.
He opened his full scope optometric practice in Marlboro, NJ in 1970. He joined the staff of Dr. Feldman in August, 1999. Dr. Stein enjoys working with children and is experienced in all types of contact lens fitting, especially the hard to fit patient. He takes the time to listen to his patients, so he can better understand their needs.
Paul Repage, OD
Dr. Repage received his B.A. from St. John’s University and completed his post-graduate studies at SUNY College of Optometry, Manhattan, where he received honors in Pediatric Optometry. His externship credits were obtained at the world-renowned Lighthouse International, a health care facility dedicated to treatment of the low vision patient.
His clinical experience includes a focus on adult and pediatric primary eye care beginning at Staten Island University Hospital and on to their satellite office in Coney Island. Dr. Repage treats and follows patients with various ocular manifestations of systemic disease, children with special needs and routine vision disorders. He is trained in advanced management and treatment of diseases of the eye, including glaucoma.
Above and beyond his professional experience and meticulous clinical nature. Dr. Repage prides himself on his communication sills which leads to a personable rapport with his patients.
William Ference, OD
Dr. Ference graduated from the Pennsylvania School of optometry in 1995. He served his residency at SUNY specializing in vision therapy. Dr. Ference is trained in the management of glaucoma and treatment of eye disorders and disease. He excels with children and the elderly.
